Unofficial nude beaches are hidden away on the far limits of the normal very long beaches. Often one has to walk 2 or 3 kilometres, 20 minutes, to come across the nude beaches. Usually there are no restaurants or facilities. But you have fine sandy beaches almost to yourself.

A surfers paradise in fact, everyones idea of heaven! Definitely worth the drive. Dramatic & stunning with a huge expanse of soft sand with crashing waves, the view will quite simply take your breath away! Mainly under-populated, so you always have the beach to yourself practically. Lots of rocks & cliffs to explore too. There are good facilities, with parking & a restaurant/snack bar close by, the restaurant offers delicious local dishes.
One of the trickiest parts of driving in Portugal is mastering driving through 'Roundabouts', where you may have six or more roadsleading off or into the roundabout.
